Discover stories from the past, explore fascinating items from the history of the Cathedral including an exploded cannonball, and watch as the restoration of the Central Spire after the Civil War comes to life before your eyes! Then head on up the winding spiral staircase to the top of the tower where you wonder at the workmanship underneath the Central Spire and take in views from North, South, East and West. Then head back down, not forgetting to admire the wheel window in the South Transept that isn’t visible from the main part of the Cathedral.
