This 90-minute, guided tour takes you via the North West tower and up spiral staircases, through narrow passageways, and across hidden walkways above the South Transept and Nave. The tour includes the Tower Room Experience where you can discover stories from the past, explore fascinating items from the history of the Cathedral including an exploded cannonball, and watch as the restoration of the Central Spire after the Civil War comes to life before your eyes! Then head on up the winding spiral staircase to the top of the tower where you wonder at the workmanship underneath the Central Spire and take in views from North, South, East and West. This tour includes access to rooftop spaces above the Nave of the Cathedral as well as the views from the tower.
